At Six is a contemporary art and design hotel with 343 rooms and suites, including our Masterpiece Suite and 32 longstay apartments adjacent to the hotel. The team consists of 1 manager, 2 supervisors and around 10 ambassadors.
The Role and Our Philosophy
As Meeting & Events Manager At Six you’re responsible for our Conference & Banquet Department. Your main responsibility is to ensure the consistency of the quality of our product and service. The role is mainly operational but will also include administrative tasks. You will report directly to our Food & Beverage Manager.
With a high position within the company as a head of department, you’re expected to actively participate in the operative planning and development of the department. You will be a key person between sales, project management and the food and beverage team. In your daily work you ensure a smooth running and execution of all meetings and events on a high level of service, with effective communication both written and spoken within the departments. Forecast, planning, controlling the cost and ensuring profitability is also within your working tasks.
You’ll be expected to actively work to maintain a positive and healthy team environment at all times and lead, develop and coach all team members to ensure a high level of customer service as well as maximum profitability.

And what about you?
We are looking for you with a positive, friendly and customer focused attitude who’s committed to delivering a high level of customer service. A passion for Food and Beverage with the ability to lead and motivate is essential for this role. We see that you have previous experience from a similar role, it’s meritorious if it’s within the premium segment. Extra plus if you also have a good technical understanding and experience with conference and event equipment. You’re a skilled leader and are used to leading both employees and managers. You’re fluent in Swedish and English, knowledge in other languages are beneficial!
We believe you are communicative with both colleagues, partners and guests. You are as a person forward, prestige less and finds new contacts exciting. You have a keen eye for details, like trying new things and have a creative mind.
